01 / Share the day
The grandparents a few hours away. The friends now in different cities. Let them in on the bits they would otherwise miss.
Post a photo, video or a few words. Everything stays in the order it was shared, with replies alongside it.
Hear the story in their own voice. With Plus, voice notes sit beside the photos, with a written-out version if you choose.
02 / Make the next plan
Pick a weekend. Find out who’s coming. Keep the address and the bring-a-salad list together, where everyone can find them.
One-off events are free. Date polls and recurring plans come with Plus
RSVPs, extra guests, shared lists and notes. Add the plan to your calendar and get a reminder before the day.
Make it regular. Take turns hosting.
03 / Keep what matters
The birthday messages. The recipe everyone asks for. A whole weekend, seen through everyone’s camera.
A birthday guestbook

Private guestbooks
A guestbook is a page of messages for someone. They can’t read it until you give it to them. Add words, photos, video or a voice note. Birthdays start their own book and give it on the day.
Something to open again, long after the candles are out.

The rest comes naturally
Useful things. Thoughtfully included.
A weekly or monthly question, answered in words, photos, voice or video. Revisit past rounds as a book.
Film, series, book, record and place recommendations. Share what you loved, and why.
Which book next, which restaurant, which route. Put the choices up and everyone taps. Part of Plus.
The Worst Expert is 30 seconds of sounding completely sure. Prove It is one photo each, kept secret until the shared reveal. Part of Plus.
Bring two circles together for one plan. Each group keeps its own replies and photos private.
Old posts return on their anniversary. An ordinary Tuesday, suddenly worth remembering.
Search within your group, then keep favourite moments on the group page to find again.
The shopping, the packing, who brings what. A list everyone can add to and tick off.
Add a plan or subscribe once to keep confirmed events up to date. Get a reminder before the day.
Repeat weekly, monthly or yearly. Take turns hosting, so one person isn’t always making the arrangements.
Private links and QR codes. People in the group can suggest someone they know; the group owner decides.
A heart, a few words or a photo in reply. Keep the conversation beside the moment.
Download shared photos and videos, or request an export of your personal data. Export is never paywalled.

Your people. Your privacy.
Here is what private means at AmongFolk, in plain English.
No discovery, public profiles or search. People join through a private invitation from someone already inside, and your group’s posts have no public address on the internet.
There is no staff screen for browsing your group’s posts, photos, videos or voice notes. What you share stays with the people you invited.
Photos, videos and voice notes you upload stay in encrypted private storage. Your group opens them through private links that work only for people in the group, and your uploads never get a public web address.
No advertising networks, third-party trackers or session replay, and we never sell your data. Your group’s subscription funds the whole service, while removing someone ends their access immediately.
When you invite another group to a get-together, only the event details you choose are shared. Replies and photos stay in their own group. Organisers see combined attendance totals, and each group can keep a private archive when sharing ends.
All of this is set out in full, with the retention periods and your GDPR rights, in our privacy policy.
Make yourself at home

Who’s this for?
AmongFolk began with new parents and grandparents at the other end of the country. It fits the other circles in your life, too.
The muddy knees, the first wobbly steps, the photos from this morning. Let them see the everyday.
Keep up with life between visits, pass on a good recommendation, and put the next reunion in the diary.
Vote on the next read, share what someone cooked, and find a date everyone can make.
The running club or five-a-side team. Keep the match photos, sort the next meet-up, and carry on the debrief.
A place for the people you used to live with. Keep the photos and work out who’s hosting next.
Post when it suits you. Family and friends catch up when they’re awake. Nobody has to be online together.
A few things you might be wondering
