01 / What Plus adds
What your group can do with Plus
One person hosts. Everyone you invite joins free. Photos, plans and the useful bits stay in one private place.
Room for the whole group
Plus covers one group: up to 100 people, and 50 GB for photos, video and voice notes. The free year is that membership, with no card and no automatic charge when it ends.
A date everyone can make
Suggest a few dates and let everyone vote. Make it weekly, monthly or yearly, take turns hosting, and cap the numbers with a waitlist. One-off plans are free. Date polls, recurring plans and spot limits come with Plus.
The photos, kept together
Gather the match, the show or the weekend in an album. People can keep talking. The pictures stay where you left them.
Voice notes
The debrief after the game. The directions to the hall. Hear it in their own voice, with a written-out version if you choose.
Ask the group
Which book next, which pitch, which route. Put the choices up and everyone taps.
The useful bits, in one place
The address, the kit list, who is bringing pudding. Shared notes and lists are there for every group. With Plus, a recipe or a tradition can live on as something the group knows.
Only the people you invite can see the group. There is no public profile, and no staff screen for browsing posts, photos, videos or voice notes. The full account is in the privacy policy.

We review every application. A number and a link do not approve anyone on their own.

A club site, meetup, Facebook group, Instagram or similar, plus where the size shows. No file uploads, and no one else’s personal details.

Twelve months of Plus begin when you redeem in the app, not when we approve you. It does not turn into a paid subscription when it ends.

Before you apply
Why would we use this instead of a group chat?
Chats are brilliant for the next five minutes and terrible at keeping last Sunday. AmongFolk keeps the photos, the plan and the list, in the order they were shared, and only inside your group.
Do we need 30 people in the app already?
No. 30 is the real-world group: the club, the team, the street, the friends. You can start with whoever is ready.
When does the free year start?
When you redeem it in the app, after we approve you. Not when you apply, and not when we say yes. Use the same email address to create your AmongFolk account, make a group, then open You → Plans & billing.
What happens when the year ends?
It does not turn into a paid subscription, and we never ask for a card for the free year. New voice notes, albums, date polls and the other Plus features stop until someone covers the group. The terms set out what stays.
Can a family, a business or a brand apply?
No. This is for a club, team, neighbourhood or friend group, and you need to be 18 or over.
What if there are more than 100 of us?
The free year is Plus, which has room for 100 people in the app. You do not have to bring the whole real-world group, and the year covers one group.
Who can see what we share?
Only the people you invite into that group. There is no public profile and no search. The privacy policy has the full wording.
