Private storage. No public feed
Media stays in private storage with links that work only for people in the group. There are no adverts and no third-party trackers. Read the full wording on the homepage and in the privacy policy.
For families
AmongFolk began with new parents and grandparents at the other end of the country. A private place for everyday photos, little updates and the next visit, shared only with the people you invite.
01 / Built for family life
The first wobbly steps. Lunch at Nana’s. A voice note from the school run. AmongFolk keeps those moments in a private group, in order, so nobody has to live inside a chat thread to feel close.
Share a photo or a short video with the family group. Replies sit with the moment. Everything stays chronological, so catching up after a busy week is simple.
Put Sunday lunch or the half-term trip in the diary. One-off events are free. With Plus, vote on dates and keep recurring plans without another round of messages.
A guestbook gathers words, photos and voice notes for someone. They cannot read it until you give it to them. Birthdays can start their own book and arrive on the day.
If someone misses a few days in the app, the weekly digest helps them catch up. Useful for relatives who check in less often.

Many families start with one group on Free or Plus. Together covers up to five groups you belong to, if you also have a friends group or a wider family circle.
Plans
One person hosts. Everyone they invite joins free. Current prices for Plus and Together are shown in the app.
Try Plus for 30 days, with no card and no automatic charge.
02 / Be honest
AmongFolk is for intentional sharing with the people you invite. It is not a phone backup tool, and it is not a video-calling suite.
A few things you might be wondering
Yes. Someone creates the group and sends a private invite link or QR code. Grandparents join free. The app keeps posts in order, so catching up does not mean scrolling a noisy chat.
Only the people in that group. There is no public profile and no discovery. Posts do not get a public web address.
Free covers up to 8 people, 500 MB of shared photos and video, notes, replies, reactions, one-off events and the weekly digest. Plus adds more room, voice notes, albums, date polls and keepsakes for one group.
Many families keep a chat for quick pings and use AmongFolk for the photos, plans and birthday messages they want to keep. You do not have to choose only one.
